Attendance and punctuality are crucial to the TMS® educational philosophy and disciplinary standards. The methodical educational instruction requires full, prompt attendance to optimize results. Lessons are very valuable in time and they all compound to the academic year of healthy positive learning experience. Absence and late attendance are not tolerated and dealt with immediately. Holidays are as assigned and cannot be taken earlier or extended. Students may not begin a holiday early or return to school late after a holiday. Absent students are responsible for the missed material and any special medical or other appointments are urged to be made outside school hours as they are valuable hours dedicated for education. Absentees and late attendants must directly report to the Head Disciplinarian; they will not be admitted to class without valid explanation. The school reserves the right to determine the validity of an excuse and maintains strict records of attendance and punctuality.
