TMS® instills respect and responsibility in its students. It gives them the respect with which they treat their teachers, senior administrators and fellow students. These principles help promote students to become better citizens and active members of their communities. If students breach disciplinary regulations, they are held responsible. Students at TMS® are encouraged to reflect on their mistakes and work on improving their conduct. TMS® is concerned with providing a strong, loving, resourceful community for its students. It aims at raising a sense of awareness and responsibility in its students. The purpose of the punitive code is to foster future citizens who take pride and have self-respect and are socially responsible people. If students contravene disciplinary codes, they are held accountable. All students, without exception, must accept the consequences of their actions and be responsible for improving their behavior. Discipline and social awareness are the expected behavior both at school and outside. The disciplinary code is rigorous yet fair. Disciplinary action taken is always constructive, reasonable and unswerving. The common used punishment in case of offense is detention. Detained students may be seized within school hours, after school or during weekends and for progressively longer periods. Physical punishment is alluded to. Parents are also made aware of disciplinary issues and, as necessary, requested to be a part of the solution.
